Trumbull CT April 2011 Monthly Real Estate Sales Report

There were eighteen single family home sales in Trumbull during the month of April that were reported to the MLS. The average List price was $384,300 and the average sale price was $370,650, and market time for these listings to sell was 87 days. On average, the sale price to list price ratio for sold listings was 96%, and these sales figures include eleven sales of 3 bedroom homes, and seven sales of 4 bedroom homes.
During this same period in 2010, there were 28 sales, and during this period in 2009, there were 21 sales. Trumbull's real estate market is still struggling with sales, although we are hopeful that this market is on its way back.
Two condominiums were sold in Trumbull that were reported to the MLS. The average List price was $434,750 and the average sale price was $410,000, market time for these listings to sell was 111 days, and these figures include one unit with 2 bedrooms or less, and one unit with 3 bedrooms On average, the sale price to list price ratio for sold listings was 94%. I should also note that the median price for condominiums in Trumbull is generally less than $350,000.
