Easton CT - Weekly Real Estate Market Statistics Report - July 26, 2011

EASTON CT HOMES:The Easton market has finally picked up! There has been more activity in the past few weeks than we have seen for much of this year. As of this morning, there are still 90 homes actively on the market for 117 days and are listed at an average price of $903,949. The median price in Easton has dropped slightly in the last week to $684,000. The highest available listed home price is $2,498,000 and the lowest price is $299,000.
There are 16 properties available in the 500-600k range and 25 homes available in the 1-1.5 million range
Three new listings came on the market this week, and one home came back on the market after being under deposit. Three properties had a price change, and four properties have gone under the initial deposit stage. Five homes went into pending status, (which means that the conditions have been satisfied). CLOSINGS: One property sold this past week and was listed at $1,295,000 and took 385 days to sell. There were twenty status changes in the last week.
EASTON CT CONDOS: There are no condominiums in Easton.
RENTALS: If you are looking for a rent in town, the median price is $3,150 per month. There are only seven homes or apartments available, and they are listed at an average price of $3,642 per month. They have been on the market approximately 41 days.
