Easton CT Housing and Real Estate Market Report Week of 2/19/14

The market is continuing to improve in town- inventory is relatively stable with the last few weeks, and there are now 78 actively listed homes on the market. These homes have been  available an average of 140 days, and have  a *cumulative market time of 234 days. These properties are listed at an average price of $1,022,897, and the median price in Easton is currently at $877,450. The highest available listed home price is $3,595,000 and the lowest price is $269,900.

Six new listings came on the market this week, and no homes came back on the market after being under deposit. Three properties had a price change. One property has gone under the initial deposit stage, (which we call CTS) and one home went into  pending status, (which means that the conditions have been satisfied) and was listed at $709,000.

TOWNWIDE DEPOSITS: There are nine properties in CTS status, and seven properties in pending status that are scheduled to close, with an average list price of $947,361.

CLOSINGS: One property was  reported as sold this past week, and was listed  at $539,900. There were 15 status changes in the last week.

EASTON CT CONDOS: There are no condominiums in Easton.

RENTALS: If you are looking for a rent in town, the average price of the six homes available is $3,140 per month. These homes are listed at a median  price of $3,350 per month, and have been on the market approximately 106 days.

*Cumulative market time indicates the TOTAL  market time when a home has been listed more than once in short succession.
