Easton CT Housing and Real Estate Market Report Week of 5/6/14

Inventory is up over the last few weeks, and there are now 103 actively listed homes on the market. These homes have been  available an average of 112 days, and have  a *cumulative market time of 184 days. These properties are listed at an average price of $961,586, and the median price in Easton is currently at $839,000. The highest available listed home price is $3,595,000 and the lowest price is $159,000.

Ten new listings came on the market this week, and no homes came back on the market after being under deposit. Three properties had a price change. Three properties have gone under the initial deposit stage, (which we call CTS) and two homes went into  pending status, (which means that the conditions have been satisfied)

TOWNWIDE DEPOSITS: There are 11 properties in CTS status, and 17 properties in pending status that are scheduled to close, with an average list price of $788,535.

CLOSINGS: Seven properties were reported as sold this past week, and were listed on average at $573,271. There were 31 status changes in the last week.

EASTON CT CONDOS: There are no condominiums in Easton.

RENTALS: If you are looking for a rent in town, the average price of the nine homes available is $3,156 per month. These homes are listed at a median  price of $2,950 per month, and have been on the market approximately 52 days.

*Cumulative market time indicates the TOTAL  market time when a home has been listed more than once in short succession.
