Easton CT - Weekly Real Estate Market Statistics Report - July 26, 2011

EASTON CT HOMES:The Easton market has finally picked up! There has been more activity in the past few weeks than we have seen for much of this year.  As of this morning, there are still 90 homes actively on the market for 117 days and are listed at an average price of $903,949. The median price in Easton has dropped slightly in the last week to $684,000. The highest available listed home price is $2,498,000 and the lowest price is $299,000.

There are 16 properties available in the 500-600k range and 25 homes available in the 1-1.5 million range

Three new listings came on the market  this week, and one home came back on the market after being under deposit.  Three properties had a price change, and four properties have  gone under the initial deposit stage. Five homes went into  pending status, (which means that the conditions have been satisfied). CLOSINGS: One property sold this past week and was listed at  $1,295,000 and took 385 days to sell. There were twenty status changes in the last week.

EASTON CT CONDOS: There are no condominiums in Easton.

RENTALS: If you are looking for a rent in town, the median price is $3,150 per month. There are only seven homes or apartments available, and they are listed at an average price of $3,642 per month. They have been on the market approximately 41 days.

Easton CT Real Estate Market Statistics Weekly Report - 6/21/2011

EASTON CT HOMES: As of this morning, there are 96 homes actively on the market for 100 days and are listed at an average price of $934,042. The median price in Easton is $742,000. The highest available listed home price is $2,900,000 and the lowest price is $299,900. There are 38 four bedroom homes available, and 36 homes available with five or more bedrooms representing 40 percent  and 37.5 percent respectively of all the available inventory.


Five new listings came on the market  this week, and no homes came back on the market after being under deposit.  Two properties had a price change, and one property has gone under the initial deposit stage. One homes went into  pending status, (which means that the conditions have been satisfied). CLOSINGS: Two properties sold in this past week The average list price was $748,950 and the average market time for these properties to sell was 101 days. There were fourteen status changes in the last week.

EASTON CT CONDOS: There are no condominiums in Easton.

RENTALS: If you are looking for a rent in town, the median price is $3,625 per month. There are only 12 homes or apartments available, and they are listed at an average price of $5,125 per month. They have been on the market approximately 61 days.

Easton CT Real Estate Market Statistics Report 5/24/11 

EASTON CT HOMES: There is a five percent net gain of  available inventory  in Easton this week, although the real estate market  has not picked up or dramatically decreased substantially for any period of time.  That's just something to note. I do see a slight change in the market across the board in a variety of towns, and will keep a close watch on it. The median list price in Easton is $764,000

As of this morning, there are 88 homes actively on the market for 97 days and are listed at an average price of $975,219. Over 20% of the current inventory is listed between one million and 1.5 million,

Easton CT Real Estate Market Report  5/17/11

EASTON CT HOMES: While Easton's real estate market remains much slower than its surrounding towns, more  listings came on the market this week than there has for quite a while. The median list price in Easton is $764,500 and that is yet another jump from the $25,000 increase reported last week.

As of this morning, there are 84 homes actively on the market for 102 days and are listed at an average price of $976,237. Over 20% of the current inventory is listed between one million and 1.5 million,

Seven new listings came on the market  this week, and no homes came back on the market after being under deposit.  Two properties had a price change, and three properties have gone under the initial deposit stage.No homes went into  pending status, (which means that the conditions have been satisfied). CLOSINGS: No properties sold in this past week. There were 14 status changes in the last week.

EASTON CT CONDOS: There are no condominiums in Easton.

RENTALS: If you are looking for a rent in town, the median price is $3,950 per month, and there are  12 homes or apartments available, and they are listed at an average price of $5,466 per month. They have been on the market approximately 82 days.
